About the Role

As a Customer Relationship Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers with overdue accounts:

  • Manage and optimise a portfolio of overdue accounts from leading Australian institutions with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Use advanced skip tracing tools and techniques to relocate and connect with customers
  • Conduct high-quality inbound and outbound conversations, uncovering customer needs and negotiating sustainable repayment outcomes
  • Apply your experience to handle complex or sensitive cases with confidence and professionalism
  • Drive performance through strong commercial judgement while maintaining strict compliance standards
  • Build rapport and create trusted, long-term customer relationships

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in collections, financial services, or similar
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Emotional intelligence/empathy when dealing with customers
  • Resilience – you can handle challenging conversations in a high-volume call centre environment
  • Motivation to achieve targets and grow your earnings
  • Attention to detail, data accuracy, and willingness to learn compliance requirements
