Yeppoon and Rockhampton | Early-Morning, Evening and Weekend Shifts
Clean & Cleaner Australia is looking for dependable casual cleaners to support our established commercial cleaning team.
We already have a strong, stable core team. We are now looking for reliable support staff who can assist with regular casual shifts, additional coverage, weekends and periods of increased demand.

About the work
This is a hands-on commercial cleaning role across a range of client sites, which may include offices, amenities, community facilities, hospitality venues and other commercial premises.
Typical duties include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets, bathrooms and staff amenities
- Wiping desks, counters, fixtures and other surfaces
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Cleaning kitchens, lunchrooms and common areas
- Spot-cleaning internal glass, doors and walls
- Restocking consumables
- Following site instructions, cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or supply shortages
- Completing work independently and to the required standard
The work is physical and may involve repetitive movement, bending, lifting, pushing cleaning equipment and being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
About the role
We currently have a combination of:
- Early-morning shifts, including 5:00 am starts
- Afternoon and evening shifts
- Weekday and weekend work
- Approximately 3–4 shifts per week
- Approximately 9–12 hours per week
Additional hours may occasionally become available due to leave coverage, staff absences, new work or operational requirements. However, this is primarily a casual support role, and applicants should be comfortable with the advertised hours rather than relying on the position to immediately provide full-time or near full-time work.
Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
- A current driver’s licence
- Reliable access to transport
- The ability to get themselves to each shift on time, including for 5:00 am starts
- Genuine availability for the shifts they nominate
- The ability to reliably attend early-morning and/or evening shifts
- The physical capacity to complete commercial cleaning duties
- Professional and prompt communication
- A commitment to completing every accepted shift thoroughly and to a high standard
As our employees work across different client locations and some shifts begin before public transport is available, being able to travel independently to work is an essential requirement of the role.

Previous commercial cleaning experience is helpful, but reliability, attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. Training will be provided to suitable applicants.
