About Us

Circl is a fast-growing, innovative leader in high-volume field workforce management, delivering exceptional operational solutions across multiple industries. Our Starlink Installation Division is a key pillar of our business, proudly serving as the only endorsed installer of Starlink high-speed satellite internet in Australia and New Zealand. With a focus on agility, hands-on expertise, and cutting-edge technology, we are rapidly scaling our operations and seeking a passionate Operations Lead to drive our Starlink Installation Division to new heights.

Role Overview

As the Operations Lead for Circl’s Starlink Installation Division, you will be the hands-on driving force behind our Starlink installation operations. This role is designed for a proactive, operational expert who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative small business environment. You’ll oversee a field workforce of installers, ensuring seamless, high-quality installations while providing technical guidance to empower our sales team to convert leads and upsell effectively. With budget responsibility for the division, you’ll optimise resources to support our rapid growth. This is not a role for a delegator – we need a leader who is deeply engaged in day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and fostering a collaborative, high-energy team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Starlink Installation Division, overseeing scheduling, coordination, and on-site supervision to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
  • Directly mentor and train a field workforce of installers, providing hands-on support and stepping in to resolve complex technical challenges as needed.
  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team, supporting pre-sales consultations, upselling opportunities, and converting leads into successful installations.
  • Manage the division’s budget, including forecasting, cost control, equipment procurement, and financial reporting to drive operational efficiency and support growth.
  • Conduct regular site visits, quality assurance checks, and performance evaluations to uphold service excellence and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to satellite networking and Starlink systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate processes, implement cutting-edge solutions, and support Circl’s broader mission in high-volume field workforce management.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in Starlink technology, telecommunications, and satellite systems, to maintain Circl’s position as the leading endorsed installer in Australia and New Zealand

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, networking, and specifically Starlink or similar satellite installation operations.
  • A proven track record in operational leadership, managing field teams in a practical, on-the-ground capacity – we’re looking for someone with deep operational expertise, not just managerial oversight.
  • Strong technical proficiency in satellite installation, networking configurations, and troubleshooting, with the ability to guide both installers and sales staff effectively.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources in a fast-growing, agile small business environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to drive sales conversions and foster team collaboration.
  • Flexibility to travel to installation sites across Australia and New Zealand as needed and a willingness to be hands-on in resolving operational challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications in telecommunications, networking, or a related field (e.g., certifications in satellite technology, IT networking, or field operations) are highly desirable.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for solving problems and delivering exceptional results in a high-growth setting.

What We Offer

  • A pivotal role in a fast-growing, innovative company where your contributions directly shape our success as the only endorsed Starlink installer in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives to reward your impact.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, including access to training in emerging technologies and field workforce management solutions.
  • A collaborative, dynamic team environment with the autonomy to lead and innovate in your own way.

If you’re an operational trailblazer with a passion for satellite technology, hands-on leadership, and driving innovation, we want to hear from you! Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience with your application. Applications close 31st of October 2025 .
