Cessnock Multipurpose Children’s Centre (CMCC) is delighted to be opening our brand new Wollombi Rd Preschool in Bellbird, and we are inviting warm, dedicated educators to join us on this exciting journey from the very beginning.

Since 1963, CMCC has proudly supported children and families across the Cessnock LGA. As we continue to grow, we are looking for educators who share our commitment to high quality education, meaningful relationships, and inclusive, community focused care.

💙Who We Are

CMCC is a community based, not‑for‑profit registered charity operating seven services, with our eighth service opening at Bellbird in mid 2026. Our services include:

  • Three early education and care centres (plus our new Wollombi Rd Preschool)
  • Four Out of School Hours (OOSH) Services

Behind our educators is a strong and caring support network including management, educational leaders, catering, transport and logistics, and maintenance teams – so you can focus on what you do best: supporting children to learn, grow, and flourish.

 

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking enthusiastic educators who are passionate about early learning and excited to be part of a new service.

Essential requirements:

  • Certificate III ,or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education & Care Setting)

Desirable qualities:

  • Knowledge of the EYLF and NQF
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good time management and organisation
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to working with children
