Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Kyneton, Victoria. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our building and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess mid to senior-level experience in welding, contributing to the successful completion of various construction tasks while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks on various materials including steel, aluminium, and other metals as required.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the building and construction industry.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
