Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Administration / Office Assistant to join our team in Charmhaven, New South Wales. This role is crucial in supporting the daily operations of our building and construction projects, ensuring that administrative tasks are handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organised workspace.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Support the finance team with invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff and training of office procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably within the building and construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft, Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office CRM software.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
