Summary:

The Gaming Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive gaming experience for patrons. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Gaming Attendant must adhere to all industry regulations and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operate and maintain gaming machines, ensuring they are in proper working order.
  • Explain game rules and procedures to customers, providing guidance as needed.
  • Monitor gaming areas to ensure compliance with regulations and address any issues promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including payouts and exchanges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized gaming area, including restocking supplies as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering assistance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new games, and regulations to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure environment for both customers and staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects if required.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
