As a purpose-led fintech backed by leading investors, we’re helping accelerate Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future.

About the role

As State Manager, you’ll grow Brighte’s Vendor network across Western Australia. You’ll identify and win new business, build lasting relationships and help Vendors adopt and grow their use of Brighte’s products.

This is a relationship-led role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, creating opportunities and turning partnerships into measurable growth.

Reporting to the Country Manager, you’ll work closely with Marketing, Operations, Product and Vendor Success. This is a remote role with regular travel across Western Australia and occasional interstate travel to South Australia.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and convert new Vendor and partnership opportunities.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve growth targets.
  • Develop trusted relationships with new and existing Vendors.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase Vendor engagement and product adoption.
  • Work with internal teams to support Vendor onboarding, growth and retention.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear sales forecasts and performance updates.
  • Represent Brighte at relevant industry events and networking opportunities.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in business development, sales, account management or partnerships.
  • A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationship management, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and financial acumen.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • A proactive, resilient and results-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
  • Experience in sales, finance, solar, electrical or a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Confidence using AI tools to research, analyse, automate and solve problems. We primarily use Claude, but welcome experience with other AI platforms.

Why join Brighte?

  • Help accelerate Australia’s transition to clean energy.
  • Join a purpose-led fintech with a strong growth mindset.
  • Work remotely in a high-trust environment.
  • Collaborate with a capable and inclusive team.
  • Participate in Brighte’s Employee Share Option Plan.
  • Receive an additional day of leave to celebrate your work anniversary.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to grow meaningful Vendor partnerships and help make clean energy more accessible, we’d love to hear from you.
