Summary:

The successful candidate will be working with other Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Speech Pathologists and Personal Trainers to support private patients and NDIS participants in our clinics, gyms, studios and also via mobile services delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as an OT delivering evidence based, innovative and high quality services to private and NDIS patients
  • Work collaboratively to achieve clinical and customer service excellence
  • Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop treatment plans
  • Work with clients to develop goals and objectives for therapy
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help clients achieve their goals
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate clients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve daily living skills
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ progress and treatment plans

Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Loves the idea of providing community based therapy
  • Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Eligibility for Police Clearance, Working with Children check and NDIS Worker Check
  • Current WA driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Fully COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Experience working in the disability sector (desirable)
  • Experience delivering therapy services under the NDIS (desirable)
