We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic
and motivated Operations Technician (Day Shift) to
join our team at our Power Station near Collie.
This is a fast paced operations role, which will
suit a person who has a sound mechanical or electrical aptitude and a strong
willingness to learn. This is a residential role, primarily working day shift,
however the occasional night shift may be required.
As the Operations Technician (Day Shift), you will:
- Actively contribute
to a safe working environment which values teamwork, open communication
and collaboration
- Carry out operational
tasks in line with the daily, weekly and monthly work management plans
- Ensure all routine
checks are completed with appropriate documentation and are recorded for
each shift
- Identify
opportunities for improvement or gaining operational efficiencies
- Troubleshoot problems
with plant and equipment for the purpose of effective, efficient and safe
operations, and escalating where necessary
Attributes:
- Strong Mechanical or
Electrical aptitude
- A valid C Class
Australian Driver’s License
- Effective
communication skills, both oral and written
- A positive, can-do
attitude and someone who values teamwork
- Experienced in Permit
to Work Systems (desirable)
