Bluewaters Power Station is located just outside Collie and is the newest coal fired power station in Western Australia. It has two generating units and provides reliable electricity to the South West power network.
Owned by Kansai Electric and Sumitomo Corporation, Bluewaters plays an important role in keeping WA’s energy system stable as the state transitions toward more renewable energy. Its focus is on safe operations, strong asset management and supporting local communities.
