You will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior leadership to shape the future sales structure, strategy and growth plans for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute and lead new business targets driving revenue growth across transport, global, warehousing and 3PL services.
- Recruit, build and lead a high-performing sales team from the ground up, onboarding, mentoring and developing team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and success.
- Identify, develop and secure new opportunities across transport, warehousing and 3PL services.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, identifying additional revenue opportunities.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits and presentations to build relationships and improve conversion rates.
- Take ownership of key opportunities and continue to develop new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management and sales activity reporting.
- Develop tailored logistics solutions and commercially sound pricing proposals.
- Work towards achieving sales targets, KPIs and activity objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure service delivery aligns with customer commitments.
About You
- Sales, business development, account management or logistics experience is highly regarded.
- A passion for building relationships, identifying opportunities and achieving results.
- Ability to win new business and develop strong customer relationships.
- Experience leading, mentoring or supporting others is advantageous but not essential.
- Understanding of the transport, logistics or supply chain industry is preferred, however candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply.
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand customer needs and develop effective solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel highly regarded.
- High level of accountability, initiative and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Valid driver’s licence.
