Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to provide assistance and support to families in need.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, counseling, or a related field, and will be able to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities: Provide emotional support and guidance to families in need

Conduct assessments to determine the needs of families and develop individualized plans to address those needs

Connect families with community resources and services, such as housing assistance, job training, and healthcare

Facilitate communication and cooperation between family members and other service providers

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with families

Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for families

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field

Experience working with families in crisis or in need of support

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of community resources and services

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
