This is a permanent, part-time position based at our Inverell site. Outside of payroll deadlines, you’ll enjoy flexibility to work hours that suit your lifestyle.

As our Payroll & Accounts Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time while supporting the financial processes that keep our organisation running smoothly. From payroll and accounts administration to compliance and reporting, your work will help provide a strong financial foundation for the services we deliver to individuals, families and communities across our regions.

 

About You:

You will be a self-motivated and resilient individual with:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll, accounts processing using a computerised accounting system.
  • Sound computing skills and knowledge of financial reporting packages (MYOB, Attache).
  • Up to date and practical knowledge of relevant legislation and rulings that relate to Company operations.
  • Previous experience in financial administration or equivalent role.
  • Relevant qualification in Administration or Finance desired, but not essential.
  • Current Drivers Licence (Class C or above).
  • Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
