Description

Administration & Internal Sales Representative Bayside Plasterboard Brisbane (Morningside) Full-timeHours: 5:30am–2:00pm, Monday–Friday

About Us

Bayside Plasterboard is Southeast Queensland’s trusted supplier of high-quality building materials, serving commercial, residential and DIY projects across our store network in Brisbane, Redlands, Gold Coast, and Northside. We eliminate the challenges around sourcing building products for projects of any size, backed by our own fleet, experienced team and a genuine commitment to personalised service.

Our mission is simple: to be the most trusted building materials supplier in Southeast Queensland and we’re building toward that every day.

We operate by our T.E.A.M. values — Tenacious, Excellence, Accountable, Mentor — and we mean them. These aren’t words on a wall, they shape how we show up for each other and for our customers.

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-driven Administration & Internal Sales Representative to join our Brisbane team. This is a hands-on, front-line role where you’ll be the connection point between our customers and our operations processing orders, handling inquiries, managing communications and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you take pride in accuracy, thrive in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoy helping people get what they need, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing and entering customer orders with a high level of accuracy
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries efficiently
  • Managing inbound email communications and providing timely, accurate responses
  • Receipting and managing incoming payments
  • Receiving, checking and recording incoming stock
  • Building a working knowledge of our product range to assist customers confidently
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This matters more than anything
  • Minimum two years of experience in administration or sales is preferred, but we encourage applicants with less experience to apply if you have the drive and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, you deal with people all day and you need to be good at it
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and comfortable picking up new systems
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
  • Experience in the building materials or construction industry is a bonus, but not required

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Monday–Friday schedule consistent, structured hours with genuine work-life balance
  • Paid day off for all public holidays
  • Closure over the Christmas and New Year period
  • A team culture built on accountability, mentorship and doing excellent work
  • Real career development opportunities as the business grows
  • The satisfaction of working in a role where your contribution directly impacts our customers and the wider team

How to Apply

If this sounds like the right fit, we’d love to hear from you. Send your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you’re the right person for this role.

We’re building a team that reflects our values, if you bring the right attitude and work ethic, we’ll invest in your growth.
