Description

Banksia is seeking to increase our Community Care – Care Services team with people who will deliver high quality care to our clients in their own homes.

Community Care Services – Permanent Part Time and Casual positions available

Banksia is a highly respected, single-site not-for-profit organisation delivering exceptional aged care services in the seaside village of Broulee, on the NSW South Coast. We support our community through three integrated services:

  • 121 independent living villas within our retirement village
  • An 80-bed residential aged care facility
  • Community Care services

What you’ll do:

The successful applicant will be required to deliver high quality care to our clients in their own homes. Duties will include personal care, domestic duties, meal preparation, transportation and shopping. This is your opportunity to be part of the Banksia team and provide exceptional care to members of our community.

What you’ll need:

Essential:

• Minimum qualification of Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent (or working towards)

• Current first aid certificate

• Current NSW Working with Children Check

• National Police check or willingness to obtain

• Demonstrated understanding and a minimum of 12 months experience of the aged care sector
