Handyman/ Handy Woman/ Maintenance Officer

About the role

Reporting to the Village Manager, you’ll take care of:

• General building and in-home repairs (painting, patching, minor fixes)
• Grounds maintenance (cleaning, gutters, waste)
• Routine hazard checks & preventative maintenance
• Responding to resident requests with professionalism
• Coordinating contractors and trades when needed

About you

You’ll be proactive, reliable and approachable, with:

• 3+ years’ experience in property/building maintenance
• Skills across general trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting, minor electrical, concreting)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Current driver’s licence & willingness to obtain a Police Clearance
• Availability to work 24 hours per week across 4 days
