Avida is Australia’s largest motorhome manufacturer. We have been manufacturing quality Recreational Vehicles for over 60 years. Our modern manufacturing facility is located at Emu Plains, in Western Sydney and we have a dealer sales network throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We are seeking to appoint a meticulous, experienced and enthusiastic Vehicle Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team.
This is an exciting time in our business as we continue to improve our LEAN practices, and work towards World Class Manufacturing.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Quality Leader, you will play a pivotal role by ensuring all our Recreational Vehicles meet the required quality standard and recommending improvements to our designs and production processes.
This is a hands-on role and significant time is spent standing as well as moving in and out of vehicles.
The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys a dynamic and fast moving environment requiring strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Complete all vehicle production quality checks;
• Perform functionality checks and test componentry within the recreational vehicles;
• Assist with setting standards and facilitating repairs and improvements;
• Some use of hand, power and air tools;
• Initiate continuous improvement ideas;
• Adherence to WH&S standards at all times; and

All About You:
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a quality assurance position in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable;
• Keen attention to detail;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate potential issues involving safety, quality and production concisely to management;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team to achieve quality goals and business targets.
