About the role

Hertz Trucks is looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join our HR team at our Head Office in Adelaide’s western suburbs.

This is a part time role of 12 – 15 hours per week.

Under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Accurately processing fortnightly payroll for around 190 employees.

• Responding to payroll enquires and requests.

• Completing monthly payroll tax and superannuation contribution payments.

• Providing administrative support across the employee life cycle.

• Providing support to HR team.

• Maintaining payroll system and records.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience with payroll systems.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organisation.

• The ability to work autonomously as well as being able to work effectively within a team environment.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
