AUSPAN are now inviting a Site Supervisor to join our small tight knit team to assist with the delivery of remote building projects. 

This unique opportunity is open for an experienced, hardworking, and smart goal orientated Site Supervisor. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to take ownership of projects to ensure construction is supervised effectively, projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and in accordance with Auspan’s quality expectations and WHS requirements. 

The Main Responsibilities Would Include:

  • Supervising and coordinating subcontractors
  • Assisting with scheduling, forecasting and effective allocation of resources, including materials, equipment and personnel
  • Assisting the project manager with variations / NOD / EOT as they arise
  • Enforcement of safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring quality standards are consistently met or exceeded (QA/ QC)
  • Adhering to site and project deadlines 
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Create, maintain and administer project safety documents

About You – Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:

  • Experience in construction on mine site environments 
  • Experience in a supervisory/management role
  • Experience in the application of design standards for WA cyclone rated regions (desirable)
  • Previous involvement in implementing and enforcing WHS site requirements
  • Ability to meet and or exceed financial and project budget targets 
  • Experience with project scheduling and use of scheduling software (MS Project or similar) 
  • Familiarity with Procore software (desirable)
  • Ability to proactively manage and oversee contractors and onsite personnel

The Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a functional pre-employ medical including drug and alcohol screen.  
  • Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence. 
  • Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months.
  • Be health, safety and environmentally conscious
  • Display a collaborative teamwork style with well-honed conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to make practical decisions under pressure.
