We are seeking Industrial Painters to join our team on a full-time casual basis for work on a Wind Farm Construction Project near Wellington, NSW
Roster: 21d/7d, Monday to Saturday 10hrs per day
Mobilisation: ASAP
Project Length: 18 months to 2 years
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for coating including cleaning, abrasive blasting, and degreasing
- Apply protective coatings, sealants, and paints to steel structures, towers, and associated equipment
- Interpret project specifications, technical data sheets, and coating requirements
- Mix and apply coatings using spray, brush, and roller techniques in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct inspections of coatings to ensure quality, thickness, and adherence to standards
- Carry out touch-ups, maintenance painting, and defect rectification as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and safe storage of hazardous materials
- Adhere strictly to site safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Work collaboratively with construction and engineering teams to meet project deadlines
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Painter, ideally in construction, mining, oil & gas, or renewable energy projects
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and protective coating systems
- Experience working with blast equipment and airless spray painting systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong focus on workplace health and safety practices
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and at heights

- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- EWP above 11metres
- Drivers Licence (Current)
- Working at Heights (current)
- Confined Space (desirable)
- High-Risk Work Licence (e.g., EWP, Forklift – desirable)
- Protective Coatings certification (e.g., NACE, ICorr – highly regarded)
