Reporting to the National HR Manager, you will gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle and develop valuable experience in Employee Relations, workforce compliance, HR systems, and people operations, with a clear pathway to progress into an HR Advisor role. About the Role
This is a hands-on HR coordination role supporting both
operational and corporate teams across Australia. You will be responsible for a
range of HR administration and employee lifecycle activities, ensuring accurate
records, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
You will work closely with the National HR Manager and
broader leadership team, gaining exposure to advisory activities while building
your knowledge and capability within the HR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain
accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Manage
employee lifecycle administration through Employment Hero, including
onboarding, contract generation, internal movements, promotions, and
offboarding.
- Coordinate
employment documentation, licences, certifications, and compliance
records.
- Assist
with employee inductions and onboarding activities.
- Prepare
employment contracts, letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Support
the administration of performance review and employee engagement
processes.
- Generate
HR reports, workforce data, and people metrics.
- Assist
with recruitment coordination, including advertising, screening, interview
scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Support
compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and internal
procedures.
- Assist
the HR team with employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace
issues as required.
- Contribute
to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to HR systems and
procedures.
- Provide
general administrative support to the HR function.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1-3
years’ experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role.
- A
genuine interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources.
- Strong
administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to
detail.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence
working with HR systems and maintaining accurate records.
- The
ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A
proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to learn.
- Ability
to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
professionally.
Highly Regarded
- Experience
using Employment Hero HRIS.
- Exposure
to recruitment, onboarding, or employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience
within construction, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, utilities,
renewable energy, or other operational environments.
- Knowledge
of Modern Awards and employment legislation.
- Involvement
in process improvement initiatives.
