Our solutions support local government, government, and education organisations to manage bookings, venues, events, appointments and customer experiences more effectively. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Quality Analyst who is passionate about quality engineering, thrives on collaboration, and wants to help shape how quality is embedded across the software delivery lifecycle.
This is more than executing test scripts. You’ll play a key role in helping Attekus evolve toward a modern quality-first approach where testing, automation readiness, and continuous improvement are built into how we deliver.
What you’ll be doing
Champion quality from the beginning
- Design and maintain structured, automation-ready test cases using BDD principles
(Given / When / Then)
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to improve quality before
development starts
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and definition-of-done activities
Deliver high confidence releases
- Execute functional, regression and exploratory testing across web and mobile
products
- Identify, prioritise and track defects through to resolution
- Provide meaningful insights on release readiness and quality risks
Help shape the future of testing at Attekus
- Support the progressive shift toward increased test automation coverage
- Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and quality practices
- Contribute to documentation, standards and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
You’ll likely bring:
- Around 5+ years’ experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience creating and executing structured test plans and reporting on software quality
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber or similar
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Interest in modern quality engineering and increasing automation maturity
Bonus points if you have:
- Exposure to automation concepts, frameworks or tooling
- Experience contributing to documentation and process improvement
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline
