About Anchor Safe

We’re Anchor Safe — Australia’s trusted leaders in height safety. We design, supply, install, certify and maintain compliant height safety systems that protect lives and ensure peace of mind. With offices in Albury (our head office), Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, we work with asset owners and facility managers across Australia to make working at height safe, simple and compliant.

Due to continued growth in our Brisbane Operations, we’re on the lookout for experienced and motivated installers to join our tight-knit team.

Proudly Operating Across Facilities Management and Construction Our work spans both the construction and facilities management sectors. From installing compliant systems on new commercial builds to maintaining and certifying existing infrastructure for ongoing safety, we understand the needs, pressures and standards of both environments. We’re trusted by construction teams to deliver on time and by facilities managers to ensure ongoing compliance and peace of mind.

About the Role

This hands-on, full-time ongoing role will see you installing a wide range of height safety systems on commercial and industrial buildings across Brisbane and its surrounds. You might have seen our teams working recently, we typically install a range of anchor points and static lines to walkways, handrails, platforms, and ladder systems, no two sites are the same.

You’ll be part of a professional, supportive team that values doing things the right way. You’ll also need to be comfortable with regular travel and working away from home on occasion.

A Day in the Life

Your day usually starts early — meeting your team at the depot in North Lakes or heading straight to site, depending on the job. You’ll have a clear job brief and plans from our Operations team, and you’ll be installing systems such as:

  • Roof-mounted anchor points or static lines for fall arrest and abseil access
  • Walkways and handrails for safe access routes across rooftops
  • Ladder and platform systems for permanent, compliant roof access

You’ll liaise with site supervisors, review the Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS), and set up exclusion zones and signage before work begins. You’ll likely spend the day on rooftops or at height, working with tools, drilling into structural elements, sealing fixings, and verifying installations against Australian Standards.

It’s physical work, but safety is always the top priority. You’ll do regular safety checks, use height safety PPE, and record progress throughout the day. You’ll often work alongside another installer or two, and if you’re leading the job, you’ll coordinate the day’s tasks and ensure compliance with our safety protocols.

At the end of the day, you’ll check off completed works, take installation photos, and update the job record via your work tablet or phone. Then it’s pack down, secure the site, and get ready for tomorrow’s install.

Travel days may involve overnight stays (accommodation and meal allowance provided), and from time to time you’ll attend toolbox talks or refresher training.
