Ambrose Construct Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team on the Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the National HR & Organisational Development Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their HR career within a fast-paced and dynamic national business.
As a key member of the HR team, you will provide administrative support across the entire employee lifecycle including employee engagement, and compliance. You’ll play an important role in helping us achieve our vision of being an employer of choice while supporting positive outcomes for our people and business.
About the Role
In this varied and hands-on position, you will:
- Provide administrative support across all Human Resources and Organisational Development functions.
- Support new employee onboarding and employee offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and employee documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of employment contracts, policies, procedures, and other HR documentation.
- Maintain HR compliance.
- Assist with employee communications and engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, and workplace health and safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Currently completing, or nearing completion of, a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources (highly desirable)
- Previous administration experience, ideally within Human Resources or Recruitment.
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer system skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
