Description

Associate Adviser – Wealth Management

Reporting to: Adviser/Director

Main Duties:

  • Attend all client meetings including Review Meeting, Initial Meetings and Advice Presentation meetings.
  • Facilitate workflow meetings driving priorities with the support team – IC & Offshore – Maintain an understanding of operational processes for other members in the team.
  • Preparation of detailed File Notes to record an accurate picture of client meetings and engagements. Provide instructions to support team on outcomes required and oversee executon.
  • Facilitate timely advice preparation via insourced offshore team.
  • Review and Finalise advice documents before they are sent to clients.
  • Research and develop financial strategies across Super, Risk, Investment, Debt, SMSF, Income Support, Estate Planning, Cashflow for all clients.
  • Oversee Implementation of Advice in conjunction with recommendations.
  • Oversee Review Schedule bookings and adviser calendar management.
  • Assist Advisers in addressing and solving client queries, including strategy queries.
  • Support the adviser in onboarding new clients, building the relationship and providing exceptional client service.
  • Manage and develop on-going relationships with allocated client’s – be the first point of contact for all queries.
  • Manage the overall client relationship and communication process, ensuring regular contact and the provision of a professional and personalised service.
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and processes to increase efficiency.

Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Degree qualified (preferable). 
  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (preferable). 
  • At least five (5) years in a similar role. 
  • High level understanding of client needs, investment strategies and risk profiles. 
  • Understanding of Compliance Frameworks and Requirements of Advice Documents. 
  • Outstanding customer service and client management skills. 
  • Strong organisational and facilitation skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong Administration & IT skills, Xplan is advantageous.
