Aerofloat is an Australian-owned and operated business that designs, manufactures, and installs wastewater treatment systems for various markets. Aerofloat offers standardised plants or custom-designed solutions utilising patented Aerofloat technology, as well as other leading-edge products, to address a range of wastewater treatment requirements. Aerofloat offers comprehensive servicing and chemical supply packages to its clients across various industries. Aerofloat’s Aftercare and Operations business is growing and now requires a full-time technician to support our growing customer base. The role is dynamic, requiring the successful candidate to work across multiple sites, performing routine checks and testing and preventative maintenance tasks on various plant and equipment.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have;

  • Ability to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting water and wastewater treatment equipment (pumps, controllers, dosing equipment, purification equipment etc).
  • Experience with sampling and basic onsite testing.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Understand process control and process adjustment.
  • Good time management, reporting and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and follow varying site safety and access rules.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss operational matters and task schedules.
  • Ability to perform routine and reactive maintenance.
  • Write reports on plant quality parameters and findings from plant and equipment inspections.
  • Participation in an On-Call Roster as required.
  • Ability to travel to sites on the East Coast occasionally.
  • Sound experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Australian Driver’s License
  • Construction White Card
