We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute National Sales Manager to lead our sales function across New Zealand. About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, leading a national sales team, and strengthening ADT’s position as a market leader within the electronic security industry.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning, business development, customer engagement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national sales team.
• Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.
• Manage key customer relationships and strategic accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial and residential markets.
• Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
• Support major tenders, contract negotiations, and commercial proposals.
• Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with operational and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to business planning and strategic growth initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished sales leader with a track record of delivering results and building high-performing teams.
You will bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in a senior level leadership role.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management capability.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
• Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems.
• The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A customer-focused approach and passion for achieving results.
Highly Regarded
• Experience within the electronic security, technology, telecommunications, facilities management, or related industries.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, monitoring services, intrusion detection, or integrated security solutions.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Experience managing national accounts and strategic partnerships.
