Student Services Officer

Access Training Centre (ATC) is a leading high profile Registered Training Organisation (RTO), specialising in nationally accredited training across the Construction, Resources, Manufacturing, Mining, Transport, and Logistics Industries. Our reputation for excellence in High-Risk Work (HRW) training, stems from ATCs commitment to providing high-quality training ensuring that learners are job ready for Industry. 

We are seeking a Student Services Officer to join our Dudley Park Team on a Casual basis (up to 38 hours per week).  

The Student Services Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and learner support services throughout the student lifecycle. The role ensures learners receive accurate information, timely assistance, and responsive support from initial enquiry through to enrolment, training participation, completion, and certification.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Any Student Enquiries whether it be email, phone, face to face   
  • Provide professional, timely and accurate information to prospective and current learners  
  • Respond to enquiries via telephone, email, online platforms and face-to-face  
  • Assist learners in understanding course requirements, enrolment processes, fees, funding options and support services  
  • Maintain a positive, respectful and learner-focused approach in all interactions  

Enrolment Administration 

  • Process student applications and enrolments accurately and efficiently  
  • Verify student identity and supporting documentation  
  • Ensure enrolment documentation is complete and compliant  
  • Maintain accurate learner records within the Student Management System (SMS)  

Learner Support  

  • Identify learners who may require additional support and refer them to appropriate area   
  • Promote student wellbeing through respectful, inclusive and responsive service  
  • Maintain accurate learner records in accordance with regulatory requirements  

Team Participation  

  • Work collaboratively with trainers, assessors, compliance staff and management  
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture  

Required Knowledge &Skills  

  • Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector  
  • Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025  
  • VET Student administration and processes  
  • Student Management Systems (SMS) desirable  
  • Microsoft Office applications and digital systems  
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills  
  • High level organisational and administrative skills  

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Desirable experience within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)  
  • Desirable experience in student services and administration   
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse learners  
  • Desirable knowledge of Australian VET compliance requirements
