Gro is looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to own and elevate both our organic and paid social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

The role

This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll take full ownership of Gro’s organic social strategy, content creation, and community engagement. You’ll be creating scroll-stopping social content, developing platform-specific video, managing influencers and UGC, and bringing our brand to life every day. A big focus will be on growing our TikTok and short-form video presence with standout creative, community-led storytelling, and viral potential.

You will need to be proactive, self-driven and outcomes focussed.

You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing and the wider team to plan and post 4–5x weekly, tell our clients’ transformational stories, and ensure our message is consistent, inspiring, and always on-brand. You will have autonomy to deliver within the given scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and execute the monthly social content calendar across all platforms
Assist with developing the paid media strategy across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Create and test high-converting ad creatives using performance insights and brand storytelling
Assist with paid media budgets and campaign optimisation to drive ROI, lead generation, and conversion goals
Collaborate with in-house teams, clients, and influencers to develop and repurpose content
Manage and grow our online community—responding to comments, DMs, and building relationships
Regularly report on performance metrics, test new platforms or placements, and present learnings with clear recommendations
Confidence to own, set the vision, shape the voice, and grow the brand.
Monitor performance analytics and trends to continuously optimise and innovate
You’ll be driving strategy and execution end-to-end—from ideation and filming to reporting and iterating. You’ll have the autonomy to shape our brand’s voice and lead our creative direction on social.
Work on-site in our Sydney clinic (other states considered for the right candidate) at least 3 days per week, with some interstate travel to other Gro clinics

About you:

4+ years of experience in social media/content roles, ideally in beauty, health, or lifestyle (highly regarded if you understand AHPRA guidelines)
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, Journalism or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Strong content creation and editing skills, particularly short-form video (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, etc.)
Passion for storytelling and community-building across platforms
Excellent copywriting and communication skills
Ability to develop multi-channel campaign strategies and optimise content for performance
Demonstrated ability to lead content strategy, develop campaign narratives, and use social as a key brand growth tool
Experience managing influencer campaigns, UGC, or brand ambassador programs
Ability to work autonomously and drive projects from idea to execution
Familiarity with CRM tools, customer journey mapping, or conversion funnel optimisation
Bonus points if you’re confident being on-camera or voicing content yourself
