Overview of the job

The role of the Administration Officer plays a key part in the shared success of the Administration team. Reporting to the Business Manager, the main aspects you will be responsible for include:

Managing customer and client enquiries via email and telephone
Printing and quality checking of ID cards
Managing the communication for Photo Day
Arranging photo printing and delivery
Keeping accurate records
Taking initiative by providing constant feedback to the team on any aspect which may affect the success of the Administration team – always retaining an awareness of the bigger picture
Assisting in any other matters concerned with the Administration function

Measures of success

In three months, you are:

Developing open, frank, and positive relationships with colleagues
Building a solid understanding of MSP Photography, our values, policies, and procedures
Demonstrating a strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistent delivery on all documents produced and reviewed.

In six months, you are:

Building trusted relationships with our schools
Developing a solid knowledge of your role and responsibilities
Delivering high quality customer service as part of the Administration team

In twelve months, you are:

Owning the Administration Officer position
Being the first point of contact for all enquiries
Developing new skills within the Administration function

Able to effectively prioritise own workload and work independently with minimal guidance - strong understanding of what’s important versus what’s urgent; under promising and over delivering in every area of the role
Excellent written and oral communication skills, someone who can actively listen and facilitate varied situations
A calm, tenacious but polite personality that never gives in or gives up until they get an answer

Two years’ experience in a similar role is required. The right attitude and willingness to learn is essential and non-negotiable.

The salary range is $50,000 to $55,0000 per year + super, and will be based on experience, knowledge, and qualifications.

Hours are full time - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
