The opportunity

The Graduate / Junior Lawyer in our workplace law team will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice across all areas of employment law, including in relation to award compliance, disciplinary and termination issues, protection of intellectual property and confidential information, WH&S, workplace investigations and employment disputes.

Working with a range of clients, your duties will include:

• conducting legal research;

• drafting employment contracts and policies;

• drafting advice for review;

• taking notes at client meetings;

• assisting with witness statements; and

• drafting pleadings and court documents.

The ideal candidate

This position could suit a law graduate currently completing their GDLP, or a lawyer admitted to practice in the last year or two. You will work closely with Special Counsel Kylie Dunn, as well as a Principal.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have a genuine interest in workplace law, strong initiative, great communication and problem-solving skills, and excellent academic results. You will be pro-active, driven and eager to learn and develop. The successful candidate will be engaging and professional, with a positive can-do approach.
