We are inviting expressions of interest from current staff for the role of Team Leader – Te Ara Pounuku (Connections & Funding Lower Hutt).

We are looking for a values-led and resilient leader who models rangatiratanga, manawatoa, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga, and kaitiakitanga.

This role leads a regional team to deliver high-quality, rights-based services. You will support disabled people and their whānau to identify what a good life looks like and connect to the natural, community, and funded supports that help make this happen.

About the role

• Lead and support a team to deliver consistent, high-quality services
• Coach and develop team members to build confidence and good practice
• Support people and whānau to plan, make decisions, and access supports
• Build strong relationships with community partners and providers
• Maintain oversight of workflow, quality, and contract expectations
• Support wellbeing and build team resilience in a busy and changing environment
