Fabricator

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Penrose, Auckland. This contract role offers a competitive pay rate of NZD 30-35 per hour and requires a dedicated individual to contribute to our production processes. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards, making a significant impact on our operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components.
• Operate various fabrication machinery and tools, ensuring precision and quality in all work.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing role, ideally within a similar industry.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery, including welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A relevant qualification in fabrication, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
