Woodford House, a leading special character, state-integrated, boarding and day school for Year 7 – 13 girls, in Hawke’s Bay is seeking to appoint a permanent, full-time Science Teacher to join our passionate and enthusiastic team. We nurture each girl who walks through our doors so that her light shines brighter. 

About the role: 

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Science. This role may teach at all levels, inspiring both our junior and senior science students. Our newly renovated and modernised Science Centre is a dream working environment for a forward-thinking and dynamic Science Teacher. This role would suit a beginner or experienced Teacher. The position is to commence Term 1, 2027.  

About you: 

• Registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand, or ability to obtain it, 
• A relevant teaching or other qualification, 
• The ability to teach Science, please state any senior Science specialist subjects 
• The ability to promote exceptional education in a blended learning environment, 
• A willingness to meet our future-focused learning goals, 
• High level communication and interpersonal skills, and 
• A commitment to our school’s special character.
