Service Technician Specialist Utility Vehicles (EWP, Crane, Vacuum/Wastewater)

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician Specialist for Utility Vehicles, including EWP, Crane, and Vacuum/Wastewater systems, from world-leading brands like Versalift, Palfinger, and Allvac. Our machines keep the country’s power, water, and infrastructure crews working and we’re building a hand-picked service team to keep those machines at their best. This is your chance to be one of the foundation members to join our manufacturing team in Richmond, Tasman.

The Role:

• Workshop servicing, repairs, and rebuilds out of our Richmond base.
• Planned 365 service trips around New Zealand, see the country on our time and not on your holidays.
• Reactive diagnosis and repair, including flying to site when a customer needs you most.
• Real hydraulic, electrical, and control-system fault-finding, not just filters and oil.

You:

• Trade qualified (heavy diesel, automotive, plant, or similar), or an experienced tech ready to specialise.
• Confident on hydraulics and 12/24V electrical; EWP, crane, or vacuum experience a bonus, not a must.
• Happy to travel, self-managing on site, and honest under pressure.
• Ambitious, you want to become the expert, run the workshop one day, or move into technical sales.
