Summary:

Positioned within our service team, the Parts Manager supports our customers and rental fleet with timely parts availability from quoting through to successful delivery. To understand and provide the required parts for all aftersales requirements being available to support customers and internal stakeholders with product, codes and pricing to maintain equipment uptime.

Success looks like:

Parts are available at the right time and all stakeholders get a fast and dynamic service whilst achieving financial targets. .

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking stock levels and increasing stock levels, when necessary, based on sales and warranty demand
  • Tracking Part ETA’S overseas suppliers with parts enquiries and updating customers and internal team with tracking information
  • Stock alerting, when we don’t have the stock to complete a sale, and this is a crucial part to ensure the products is operational. Alerting Team leader for a possible robbery.
  • Reviewing key sales and checking stock levels monthly or fortnightly
  • Parts quote & parts Sales
  • Cold Calling customers and offering rebuild kits or consumables parts comparing pricing and quotes
  • Quoting and updating rebuild kit quotes based on customer feedback and market industry.
  • Calling customers and updating parts records based on presales or lost sales
  • Documenting lost sales history and building stock
  • Updating parts with key details/ specs photos and pricing structure based on market feed back
  • Updating parts with buy price, landed pricing etc
  • Coming up with local solutions to order in or stock based on parts enquiries
  • Running stock vs sale reporting

  • Key customer account pricing and discount structures with SME.
  • Setting key sell pricing based on Supplier buy and product markup to customer.
  • Customer discount structure/ Service agent discount structure.

  • Understanding of products and customer focus with back up parts.
  • Working to provide parts manuals and documentation with clear part break downs that customers can follow easy. Building the Service portal with key supplier information.
  • Chat bot parts queries
