Aztech Buildings is looking to build a network of talented freelance content creators who can help us capture our projects, customers and stories across New Zealand.
We design and deliver large-scale buildings across the dairy, industrial and lifestyle sectors. From composting barns and covered feedpads through to workshops, warehouses and lifestyle sheds, there is always something interesting taking shape.
We are looking for reliable, creative contractors who can attend project sites and capture high-quality content on an ad-hoc, project-by-project basis.
The opportunity
Depending on the project, you may be engaged to capture:
- Construction progress and completed building photography
- Short-form vertical video for social media
- Drone photography and videography
- Customer interviews and testimonial content
- Behind-the-scenes footage from active building sites
- Farming, industrial and lifestyle environments in action
- Raw content for our internal marketing team to edit
- Fully edited video or photography packages
You do not need to offer every service. We are interested in hearing from photographers, videographers, drone operators and versatile content creators with different areas of expertise.
About you
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have experience creating professional photo or video content
- Are confident working independently and following a creative brief
- Can work comfortably around farms, construction sites and operational businesses
- Have a strong eye for authentic, story-led content
- Understand how to capture content for websites, social media and digital advertising
- Communicate clearly and can meet agreed deadlines
- Have your own suitable equipment, transport and contractor insurance
- Are available for occasional project work, sometimes with short lead times
Experience in agriculture, construction, architecture, property or industrial environments would be an advantage, but is not essential.
For drone work, you must be appropriately qualified and able to operate safely and legally.
How the contractor arrangement works
This is not a permanent or guaranteed-hours position.
Content requirements will arise throughout the year based on project milestones, completed builds, customer availability and campaign needs. Contractors will be contacted when suitable opportunities become available in their region.
Each project will be scoped and agreed in advance, including:
- Location and expected travel
- Required deliverables
- Usage requirements
- Turnaround time
- Editing requirements
- Contractor fee and any approved expenses
We are particularly interested in connecting with creators based throughout the Waikato, Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Manawatū-Whanganui, Canterbury and Southland regions, although applications from other parts of New Zealand are welcome.
