We’re a “Bistro Brewery” on Parnell Road, built by a team that cares about the details. Our Head Brewer is a Champion Exhibitor, our GM is a Certified Cicerones® and our Head Chef is breaking new ground in how food & beer work together. We’ve built the foundation with world-class beer alonside a curated wine list and flavourful food. Now, we need a Senior Waitperson to lead the charge in our restaurant section.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
The Senior Waitperson role at Twofold is the leader of the room. You set the tempo for the floor team, act as the primary point of contact for our dining guests, and ensure our hospitality is as crisp and intentional as the beer in the glass.
Your mission: To own the restaurant section with authority and warmth. You’ll bridge the gap between our kitchen’s craft and our guests’ expectations, ensuring every service is fluid, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Mastering the Floor

Owning Your Section: Managing table flow and guest journeys in the restaurant with precision and grace.

Leading by Example: Setting the pace for junior staff and food runners, ensuring no detail (from water carafes to crumbed tables) is overlooked.

Expert Storytelling: Confidently guiding guests through our beer and wine pairing menus and daily specials, with deep product knowledge of beer, wine and our food menu.
Building the Standard

Mentorship: Coaching junior floor staff on service etiquette, tray work, and the “Twofold way” of hospitality.

Quality Control: Acting as the final eyes on every plate and glass before it hits the table.

Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to ensure seamless communication during high-pressure services.

Service Professional: You have significant experience in fast-paced, high-standard bistros or restaurants. You know how to read a table before a guest even raises a hand.

Beer, Wine & Food Interests: You don’t just “sell” food; you understand it. A WSET qualification or Cicerone Certified Beer Server badge is a huge plus, but a hunger to learn is essential.

Cool Hospitality: When the dockets are piling up and the room is full, you are the person who remains calm, clear-headed, and focused on the guest.

Team Player: You bring energy to the floor. You’re the person who lifts the team during a double shift and holds everyone to a higher standard because you care.
