About the Role 

As an Immunisation Facilitator / Cold Chain Advisor, you will support vaccination providers across the Capital and Coast region to deliver high-quality immunisation services aligned with the National Immunisation Programme. 

You’ll work closely with general practice teams, outreach providers, and community organisations to improve immunisation coverage and reduce vaccine-preventable disease. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support providers to improve immunisation performance and coverage 
  • Deliver education, guidance and resources on immunisation best practice 

Promote all national immunisation programmes Provide cold chain, Accreditation, advice, audits and support to ensure compliance  

  • Respond to cold chain incidents and support continuous improvement 
  • Build strong relationships with providers, iwi, and community stakeholders 

About You 

You are a Registered Nurse with: 

  • A current NZ practising certificate 
  • Authorised Vaccinator status and immunisation experience 
  • Strong knowledge of cold chain management and immunisation standards 
  • Experience working in primary care or community settings 
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills 

You’ll also bring a strong equity focus and commitment to improving outcomes for Māori, Pacific and high-needs populations.
