Tū Ora Compass Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Hepatitis C Programme Manager to lead and grow our regional Hepatitis C Clinical Services Programme (32 hours per week). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant public health initiative while working alongside primary care providers, community organisations, Health NZ, iwi, and other key stakeholders across the greater Wellington region.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Clinical Services, you will lead the coordination, delivery and ongoing development of the Hepatitis C Clinical Services Programme. You will work closely with clinical teams, community providers and stakeholders to ensure programme objectives are achieved and services continue to evolve to meet community needs.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the day-to-day management of the Hepatitis C programme
  • Developing and supporting a mobile Hepatitis C service across the region
  • Building strong relationships with healthcare providers, community organisations and stakeholders
  • Monitoring programme performance and reporting outcomes
  • Managing programme budgets and resources
  • Leading and supporting a small team
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery

About You

You are an experienced programme or project leader who enjoys bringing people together to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
  • Experience working across complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
  • Experience working with diverse communities and populations
  • A commitment to equity and culturally responsive practice
  • High levels of initiative, resilience and accountability
  • A full New Zealand driver’s licence
  • Experience within primary care, population health, public health, or a clinical environment will be highly regarded. A clinical background would be advantageous but is not essential.
