About the Role

TTC Global are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer – Tosca/Performance Consultant to join our dynamic consulting and delivery team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in software quality assurance, with strong expertise in Tosca automation and performance testing.

You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining robust test frameworks that support the delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions for enterprise clients.

This position is located in Auckland CBD, New Zealand with occasional travel for client delivery requirements, with office hours between 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Weekdays – Monday to Friday, hours per week – 40 hours.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support testing across multiple platforms and applications, with a strong focus on Tosca automation and performance testing outcomes.
  • Develop and execute functional, automation, and performance test strategies, including test planning, test design, and regression coverage
  • Manage end-to-end QA processes, including defect management, root cause analysis, and defect triage in collaboration with development and business teams.
  • Conduct and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring business sign-off and successful releases.
  • Create and maintain automated test frameworks using Tosca, Selenium, QTP, and other tools across multiple languages and frameworks to support scalable and efficient test delivery.
  • Utilise tools like JIRA, ALM Octane, TestRail, and QTest for test management, execution tracking, reporting, and client-facing test status visibility.
  • Support API, integration, and end-to-end functional testing activities, including manual test execution where required across the testing lifecycle.
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and developers to translate requirements into comprehensive and traceable test cases.
  • Provide test estimates, contribute to QA project planning, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Automation Tools: Tosca (essential), Selenium, QTP (UFT), and multi-framework automation across different languages and platforms
  • Performance Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and performance reporting and visualisation tools
  • Test Management: JIRA, TestRail, QTest, ALM Octane
  • Systems: AEM, Mainframe, and other enterprise applications
  • Languages & Databases: Java, Python, SQL
  • Testing Types: Functional, Manual, API, Integration, Regression, SIT, UAT, Smoke, Performance, and End-to-End
  • Methodologies: Agile / Waterfall environments, Defect & Test Life Cycle management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in software QA, test automation, manual functional testing, API testing, and performance testing roles.
  • Proven track record in large-scale digital transformation projects, with strong experience in multi-framework automation, Tosca delivery, performance testing, and translating test outcomes into meaningful reporting for stakeholders and clients.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
  • Certifications in Tosca Automation, performance testing, and Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) are highly desirable.
