At Travvia Group (home to JUCY and Start RV), we’re on a mission to make road trips unforgettable across New Zealand and Australia. From campervans and motorhomes to rental cars, we help travellers explore with freedom and confidence.

We’re now looking for a Customer Service Consultant to join our HQ team in Mangere and support customers while they’re out on the road, ensuring their journey is smooth, memorable, and stress-free.

The Destination: Supporting Adventures on the Open Road

As a Customer Service Consultant, you’ll be the go-to support for customers travelling on the road, helping with booking changes, vehicle support, and general travel questions.

In this role, no two days are the same. You’ll manage a range of enquiries, queries, and occasional challenges from travellers across multiple channels, often balancing several situations at once while keeping every customer experience positive.

You’ll also process inbound sales opportunities, helping turn interested travellers into confirmed bookings across all Travvia Group products.

Your Journey on the Road

Support Travellers on Their Adventures

  • Be a customer’s lifeline while they’re exploring the open road.
  • Assist customers with booking adjustments and travel queries.
  • Provide guidance and reassurance when unexpected issues arise

Keep the Journey Moving

  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and service schedules.
  • Work closely with operations teams to resolve vehicle issues.
  • Ensure customers stay informed and supported throughout their journey

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

  • Respond to enquiries via phone, email, live chat, and social media.
  • Provide clear, professional, and friendly communication.
  • Ensure every customer interaction reflects our brand values

Convert Enquiries into Bookings

  • Process inbound sales opportunities across all Travvia products.
  • Provide helpful recommendations to customers planning their trip.
  • Maintain a strong conversion rate from enquiry to confirmed bookings.

What You’ll Bring to the Trip

Essential

  • 3+ years experience in a customer-facing role (reservations, hospitality, travel, or tourism experience is highly desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to manage unexpected situations.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driver’s licence and confidence behind the wheel.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster between 6am and 10pm, including weekends and public holidays

Desirable

  • Experience in travel, tourism, or reservations.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicles, campervans, or motorhomes.
  • Additional language skills

This is a permanent full-time role (40 hours per week) operating on a rotating roster.

The role also offers a hybrid work model, combining office-based work and work from home.
