Senior Developer

We are open to candidates in Auckland, Hamilton or Wellington.

We are looking for a Senior .Net Developer to come join us in our high performing team at The Instillery.

This is your opportunity to join our growing practice where you’ll be responsible for the implementation, testing, support and maintenance of systems within The Instillery and our customer environments. A typical day involves:

• Building, developing and maintaining bespoke .NET applications and application integrations using Cloud Integration Platforms as a Service tools (IPaaS)
• Collaborating with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Revising, updating, refactoring and debugging code
• Participating in requirement analysis
• Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Assisting with the development of alerting frameworks
• Developing application support documentation and escalation procedures for our support teams

To stand out from the crowd and fit in here you will have:

• Experience in the .NET stack using C#
• Experience upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
• Familiarity with RESTful API development, SQL server and some design/architecture patterns
• Experience or understanding of Agile rituals and their structure
• Some administration of Linux and Windows Operating systems
• Application development experience within a Windows environment
• Some cloud and/or virtual machine (VM) based infrastructure management experience
• An understanding of the implementation and configuration of SaaS platforms
• Integration configuration experience using enterprise integration technologies or IPaaS tools
