About the role:

The Operations & Logistics Coordinator plays a crucial role in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the site, including fulfillment of orders in and out the workshop, equipment hire coordination, document management and support of other operational processes. The successful candidate will have experience with domestic freight coordination in a workshop or warehouse environment.

The position is based in Whenuapai, Auckland

The position is responsible for:

  • Coordinating and overseeing daily operations and logistics activities to ensure efficient workflow
  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating transport, equipment hires, production, and order fulfillment
  • Maintain workshop organisation, housekeeping, and operational standards
  • Managing inventory levels, parts, consumables, and stock control, including cycle counts and stocktakes
  • Book, coordinate, and manage all inbound and outbound freight movements
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, equipment hires, and inventory transactions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any operational issues.
  • Loading and unloading goods (using up to 12t forklift)

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Working rights in New Zealand
  • Minimum 2 years experience in workshop, manufacturing, or warehousing operations
  • Experience coordinating transport
  • Experience in equipment hire coordination (highly desirable)
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
