About the Role
You will lead multiple projects from concept through to installation, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met. This role calls for strong leadership, proactive communication, and the ability to manage priorities across diverse stakeholders. You’ll enjoy the freedom to work independently on-site in the South Island, with the full backing and support of our experienced team from afar.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison with clients for day-to-day project management.
• Oversee cost and schedule performance for individual projects.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and client personnel to meet project objectives.
• Monitor technical content and quality of engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver project management documentation.

What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the food manufacturing sector (dairy experience highly desirable).
• Strong engineering background (trade qualified or tertiary degree).
• Proven experience managing brownfield projects in complex processing plants.
• Familiarity with project management tools, estimating, planning, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently on-site, with remote support from the wider team.
• Willingness to travel within the South Island region (Balclutha to Invercargill)
