Project Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our engineering team in Hamilton, Waikato. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the engineering sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a mid-senior role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.
