About our role

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our back of house team!

Ric’s at the Ocean is set to be the casual dining option on the golf course with a focus on a delicious menu to accompany drinks in the afternoon.

The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it will serve the finest selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Our team will work together to provide an unparalleled experience for members and guests!

Assisting the kitchen team with any tasks including;

• Preparing food
• Washing and putting away dishes
• Cleaning all kitchen facilities and transporting kitchen equipment to/from various locations
• Ensuring all areas are kept in line with hygiene, health and safety standards

About you

You will bring a keen interest in food and beverage, as well as a high level of reliability and good communication skills.

Other attributes that would contribute to your success would include:

• Some experience in restaurants or kitchens
• Superb teamwork
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery
• Availability to work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends and public holidays
• Current, valid and full New Zealand driver licence
