Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week (rostered shifts including evenings and weekends)
Pay Rate: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy hospitality venue. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality supervisor ready to step into a leadership role and grow within a structured and professional environment.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll help deliver exceptional service, lead front-of-house operations, and ensure the venue runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

About the role:
This is a hands-on leadership position, where you’ll be actively involved in service while supporting team performance, operational systems, and compliance standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily venue operations with a strong focus on front-of-house service
- Supervising shifts and leading the team during service
- Assisting with staff rostering, onboarding, and on-the-job training
- Monitoring labour, stock, and cost control measures
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, licensing requirements & our Host Responsibility Policy
- Delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues effectively
- Supporting reservations, functions, and event coordination
- Maintaining clear communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospitality supervisory role
- A current Duty Manager Certificate (essential)
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- A proactive, hands-on approach during busy service periods
- Sound understanding of host responsibility, licensing, food safety, and health & safety requirements
- Experience with rostering systems and POS platforms
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
