Permanent Part-Time Role | 25 hours per week
Make a real difference for rangatahi navigating mental distress — in a role where clinical skill, compassion and connection truly matter.
Mō Te Tūranga | About The role
Our Youth Mobile team supports rangatahi aged 14–24 experiencing significant mental distress, working alongside Specialist Mental Health Services to provide brief, intensive, high-engagement clinical support.
This is not a desk job — it’s hands-on, relationship-driven mahi. You’ll be out in the community, visiting tāngata regularly, responding to crises, co-creating safety plans, monitoring mental health needs, and walking alongside rangatahi and their whānau as they move toward recovery.
Your role will include:
- Providing clinical assessment, planning and intervention within a recovery framework.
- Regular community visits with rangatahi to support goals, wellbeing, and engagement in daily life.
- Working closely with whānau, schools, youth agencies, and health professionals.
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation, goal plans, safety plans, and progress notes.
- Contributing to a collaborative team culture grounded in communication, reflection, and best practice.
You’ll bring your professional judgement and therapeutic expertise — we’ll provide a supportive, values-based environment where your clinical skills can shine and grow.
